I participate in a yearly charity softball tournament in Coney Island, New York, held on the Brooklyn Cyclones baseball field. The event brings people together to support those fighting cancer, creating a sense of community and hope for everyone involved.
This year, the tournament was dedicated to my uncle, who is currently battling cancer. Playing in the event and contributing to the cause was deeply personal and meaningful for me.
I’m inspired by the courage of those fighting cancer and by how our community comes together to make a difference. Being part of this tournament allows me to support others, honor loved ones, and feel connected to a cause bigger than myself. Participating reminds me that even small actions, like showing up, playing, and encouraging others, can have a real impact and inspire hope.
