Susan Mitchell saves one at-risk horse at a time

Susan is the president of US Horse Rescue and Welfare. Her mission is to rescue at-risk horses from slaughter and provide a loving home for them. She also teaches people about proper horse care, holds camps for youth at her rescue, and creates awareness of the danger posed to loving horses by those who wish to sell them for slaughter.
