Adam organizes with families to keep a middle school open

I am a counselor at a middle school slated to be closed down at the end of this academic year. My school primarily serve immigrants, refugee and low-income kids, and our community is very close-knit. I have been organizing with my union and doing outreach to families so we can keep our school open. The kids at my school, their families and myself are all part of one community that never ceases to inspire and motivate me.
