I am the president of the Connecticut Education Foundation, a foundation that works to remove barriers to teaching and learning for students. It's an opportunity to make sure that students across the state of Connecticut are learning and thriving because many of them have conditions either at home or even when they come into the school day that don't allow them to access learning the same way some of their peers do.
